Disney's forthcoming release dates have been officially confirmed to  have been affected, even though the strikes may have concluded.

Disney has announced a change in the release dates of their upcoming  films, resulting in Deadpool 3 being the only Disney MCU movie to hit  theaters in 2024.

Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts, originally scheduled  for July 26 and December 20, 2024 respectively, have been postponed to  2025.

Deadpool 3's release date moved to July 26, 2022, while Captain America: Brave New World is set for February 14, 2025, and Thunderbolts for July 25, 2025.

Blade's release date shifted to November 7, 2025, resulting in two movies being dropped. The Marvel Cinematic Universe will now have four films in 2025, with Fantastic Four premiering on May 2.

Director Shawn Levy feared the actor strike would delay Deadpool 3's May 2024 release, but with the strike resolved, lead actor Ryan Reynolds teases Dogpool during resumed filming.

In other news, Disney's Lion King spin-off Mufasa has undergone a schedule change, moving from its original mid-2024 release date to December 20, 2024.

Sony's Venom 3 release date has been moved from June 2024 to November 8, 2024 due to the SAG-AFTRA actors' strike.

Sony will release three comic book movies in cinemas next year, including Madame Web (Feb 14, 2024) and Kraven the Hunter (Aug 30, 2024), while Disney and DC will only release one each (Joker: Folie à Deux on Oct 4, 2024).
