Billy Ray has previously received two ROTY nods for "Achy Breaky Heart"  in 1992 and "Old Town Road" in 2018. Their accomplishment puts them in  esteemed company.

Frank Sinatra received seven Record of the Year nominations in his career, while his daughter Nancy got one nomination in 1967 for their collaboration "Somethin' Stupid."

Nat King Cole was nominated for "Ramblin' Rose" in 1962, and his daughter Natalie received a nomination for their duet "Unforgettable" in 1991, but Nat was not nominated that year due to his recorded part being from years earlier.

Miley and Billy Ray made history as the first father-daughter duo to each receive individual Record of the Year nominations for their own songs, not a duet.

Miley's career milestone: GRAMMY noms in Big 4 categories. "Flowers" up for Record and Song of the Year, Endless Summer Vacation for Album of the Year in 2023.

The Cyrus family has had a significant year. In addition to achieving professional accomplishments, they have also welcomed significant new additions to their extended family.

Billy Ray and Firerose, who met on the set of Hannah Montana and became musical partners, got engaged in August 2022 and recently married in a romantic ceremony to symbolize their love.
