Perry was discovered motionless in a residential hot tub located in Los Angeles at approximately 4 p.m. on Saturday, as stated by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Upon arrival, the Los Angeles City Fire Department confirmed Perry's passing, as stated in the report. The deceased was a 54-year-old.

Due to Perry's prominent reputation, a preliminary investigation was carried out by detectives from the Robbery Homicide division, as stated.

Despite no apparent physical injuries, Perry's cause of death is pending the coroner's inquiry. Law enforcement found no evidence of foul play.

On Monday, the LA County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner deferred the cause of Perry's death for further investigation. Later that day, Perry's case was removed from the website entirely.
