According to reports, the much-anticipated One UI 6 update is finally being released in the US. Several Reddit users have claimed that the update is now accessible on their Samsung Galaxy S23 handsets. It appears that the update is being rolled out specifically for T-Mobile-locked versions of the devices.

In the United States, the One UI 6 update has been released with version numbers S916USQU1BWK4 and S916UOYN1BWK4, along with the November security patch. This is different from the update that was rolled out in other regions, which had the October patch. To download the update, it is recommended to use Wi-Fi and ensure that your Galaxy S23 has enough storage available, as the update weighs 3.32MB.

The release date for the unlocked versions of the Galaxy S23 phones in the US remains uncertain, but with the software now prepared, it shouldn’t be long before the update is available. Moreover, the US build of One UI 6 is expected to be more reliable compared to the version released in other regions, as Samsung has reportedly addressed additional bugs in this particular build.

To check if your Galaxy S23 has received the One UI 6 update in the US, head to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
